Kling 4.0 (full model: October 15, 2026) changed the prompting game: clips up to 30 seconds, up to 10 keyframes, 15 mixed references and native dialogue. Kling's official structure is asset roles → global settings → timed beats → audio. Fill the four parts below — the builder checks your total duration and writes the complete prompt for you.
Keyframes and Omni Reference cannot be combined in one generation — pick one per prompt.
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Duration | 3–30 seconds per generation. Beats must sum inside your clip length. |
| Keyframes | Up to 10 images pinned to moments. In Keyframes mode the text describes the transitions, not the frames. |
| Omni Reference | Up to 15 assets (images, videos, voice profiles, elements). Name every asset's role in the prompt. |
| Exclusivity | Keyframes and Omni Reference cannot be combined in one generation. |
| Negatives | Describe what you want. Only "no subtitles" and "no background music" are recommended negatives. |
| Dialogue | Native, multilingual. One speaker and one short line per beat keeps lip-sync clean. |
@Image1 is the product on a clean surface. Premium studio look, soft side light raking across the product edges, fine matte grain, shallow depth of field. 0 to 4 s: darkness, a single light sweep reveals the product silhouette. 4 to 9 s: camera slides in from the right, label catches the light. 9 to 13 s: a hand enters, lifts the product, turns it once. 13 to 15 s: hero hold, product centered, background falls to soft blur. Audio: quiet studio room tone, one soft click as the product is set down. No background music. No subtitles.

40 production storyboard templates in the official structure: product ads, dialogue scenes, keyframe reveals, social hooks, real-estate and travel walkthroughs, explainers and service ads. Every template has its mode, beat timings that fit 30 seconds, asset roles and audio line written out — replace the brackets and render.

Four parts: asset roles (what each reference controls), global settings (scene, texture, style, camera tone), a sequence of timed events, and an audio line. This builder follows it exactly.
Keyframes when specific moments must look exactly like your images (product reveals, makeovers, entrances). Omni Reference when identity and elements must stay consistent across a freer scene. Never both in one generation.
Up to 30 seconds, which is why timed beats matter: at 30 seconds a single-action prompt drags. Plan a beat every 4–8 seconds.
The model adds both by default. Kling's own guide recommends the two negatives "no subtitles" and "no background music" — the builder adds them for you.
Up to 30 seconds in a single generation — long enough for multi-beat scenes. The builder checks your beat timings against your total duration so no beat gets silently truncated.
Up to 10 keyframes per generation. Omni Reference mode is the alternative: it accepts up to 15 reference assets instead. The two modes cannot be combined in one generation.
Omni Reference locks identity and style by referencing up to 15 assets — characters, products or scenes — so the same subject stays consistent across shots and clips.
Reuse the same asset block word for word in every shot prompt, and use Omni Reference with the same reference set. Describe the character once, identically, in each prompt; do not paraphrase the description between shots.
Native ambience, sound effects and lip-synced dialogue cues can be written into the beats of your prompt. If you plan to add music in editing, include "no background music" as a negative prompt.
Because Kling renders what the timing allows: a beat whose action and dialogue need about 6 seconds will be cut off in a 4-second shot. The warning means the beat's word count implies a longer shot than the one you gave it.
Kling's paid plans include commercial use rights for generated videos — check the terms of your plan in the Kling app. This builder is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Kuaishou or Kling AI.
